From obituary: He was a member of the firm of Dunlap Bros. and Company, having
been with them over 60 years. He was their commercial representative for many
years but retired from active service three years ago. He first worked with
the Bank of Pictou, which later amalgamated with the Bank of Nova Scotia. He
spent a short time in Halifax but had resided in Amherst for the greater part
of his life. He was a member of Ivy Lodge, I.O.O.F., of Alexandra Lodge, A.F.
and A.M., of the Marshlands Club and the Board of Trade.
