SAMUEL M'LEOD IS DEAD; RESIDED IN SAULT 30 YEARS
Heart Trouble Claimed Respected Citizen Suddenly This Morning

Mr. Samuel McLeod, an old and highly esteemed resident of the Sault passed away very suddenly at his home 814 Queen Street east this morning about 5:30 o'clock. Death was due to heart trouble. Mr. McLeod apparently had been enjoying the best of health and fulfilled his duties yesterday at the Ship Canal Office, where he had been employed for the past 27 years. On retiring last evening, he made no complaint but about 4 o'clock this morning he was taken suddenly ill and passed away shortly after.
The late Mr. McLeod was in his 64th year, and has been a resident of the Sault for nearly 30 years. He leaves to mourn his loss besides his widow, two daughters, Mrs. A.H. Russell, Lansdowne Avenue and Miss Nellie, at home, and four sons, S.V. McLeod, Purchasing Agent of the Algoma Steel Corporation, Clifford of Boston, and Ernie and Gordon of Duluth.
No arrangements have been made for the funeral as yet.

youngest brother of Mrs. John McKee).
