"VIC" M'LEOD EX-A.S.C. CHIEF DIES IN SAULT
Samuel Victor McLeod, a former general-manager for Algoma Steel Corporation, died Wednesday in Plummer Memorial Hospital.
Mr. McLeod took over the important ASC job from T.F. Ramilly, and was replaced by Louis H. Derrer, present general-manager.
Mr. McLeod is survived by his wife, Mrs. Alma McLeod of Bruce Mines and formerly of the Sault, and by a daughter, Mrs. John Chant (Ruth) of Chatham, Ont.
The funeral will be held in Central United Church on Friday, April 27, at 2:00 p.m. Rev. R.G. Turnbull and Rev. Fred Starkey of Bruce Mines will officiate. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Buried at Range 22, Lot 29.
