Funeral service for the late Mrs. Harriet Hagerman Miller, widow of Henry Miller, was held at the residence, South Mail Street on Monday afternoon.
Mrs. Miller was 84 years old on Valentine Day and at that time was in her usual health, but seccumed tio a sudden heart attack on Friday last.
She was a life long resident of this district being the daughter of William and Amelia Chant Hagerman, members of the pioneer Hagerman family who were so instrumental in laying the social and religious foundation for the township of Markham.
Mrs. Miller was a member of The Central United Church here which she attended regularly as long as her health permitted and was a person of high standard of life.
She is survived by two sons, Wm and Ray and one daughter Amelia.
Interment took place at Haggerman Corners Cemetery, Rev. A.E. Owen conducting the services.
